Dr. Kathy Amos is a former reigning queen of the MS Senior World Mississippi Hospitality 50's of the Ms. Senior World Pageant, Biloxi, MS. She's also a 2 times bestselling international author, certified coach, speaker, a prolific teacher, and trainer with The John Maxwell Team. Kathy is also a licensed and ordained minister since 2001. She is the Co-Founder of Turning Point Fellowship Ministries International where she and her husband Bishop Dr. Joe oversees other ministries.
Dr. Kathy is President/CEO at Business Empowered Mississippi (www.bemississippi.com), a Christian Chamber of Commerce for the state of Mississippi. The vision and mission of Business Empowered Mississippi are to empower, encourage and equip those in business with Christ-centered principles, so they may advance the Kingdom of God in their sphere of influence. Business Empowered Mississippi has impacted the lives of many business leaders globally since September 2019. Kathy is the CEO of The Best of Mississippi Awards, LLC. recognizing, celebrating, and honoring leaders, businesses, ministries, and organizations for their notable contribution to the state of Mississippi.
Dr. Kathy is the CEO of The iBud (International Business Urban Development) Foundation (www.ibudfoundation.org), a private foundation, established in 2020 to support budding small businesses in rural towns and cities. The iBud Foundation also provides scholarships, business, professional, personal, and community development and training in rural cities.
Dr. Kathy is the owner of SOMA Coaching & Consulting, LLC (www.somacc.net) coaching, mentoring, and consulting firm that specializes in coaching certification, workforce and workplace training and development, special corporate event coordination, and community development consulting. Kathy is also the owner of SafeHouse Emporium doing business as SHE Shops Us (www.sheshops.us), an online store that was created to give a portion of its proceeds back to the community in whatever way funds are needed.
